Massive protests across Pakistan for outrage against Lahore motorway rape incident Women across Pakistan are protesting against the rape of a woman on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway. The protests are being held in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan and Hyderabad. On Wednesday, a woman was raped in front of her children by two unidentified men on the motorway. In a press statement issued here on Saturday, PMA (Centre) Secretary General Dr SM Qaisar Sajjad said the incident shocked the whole society. People are furious and questioning the performance of the state institutions responsible for providing protection to the citizens of Pakistan, he said.
